History in Motion: Storytelling Through Interactive Mazes

I created a series of interactive, story-driven maze puzzles to teach historical narratives, cultural journeys, and classic literature. My students engaged with complex heritage topics through hands-on problem-solving, tracing critical paths such as the journey of Noah's Ark, the flight of the symbolic dove, and the historic pilgrimage of Hajis navigating their way to the Kaaba.

I designed this activity to move away from passive memorization and introduce gamified learning into social and historical studies. Using mazes allows young learners to build cognitive critical thinking and spatial awareness while emotionally connecting to historical milestones and diverse cultural traditions through active play.

The strongest part of this project is how seamlessly it converts abstract history into an adventurous, tactile puzzle. It changes historical timelines into an interactive roadmap where students use their focus and curiosity to physically navigate the stories themselves.
